Terms of hire
Low season: Untill 2nd March, and from 27th October inclusive.
Mid season: 3rd March untill 4th May, and 8th September untill 26th October inclusive.
High season: 5th May untill 7th September incusive.
A booking deposit of £100 is payable at time of making reservation and will be deducted from the total hire charge.
The deposit is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
A confirmation of the booking will be posted or emailed to you.
The balance is due 4 weeks prior to commencement of hire, Any late payments will result in a cancellation of the booking.
You will be asked for a security deposit of £500 when you collect the vehicle.
Should any damages exceed the security deposit you will be responsible in settling the additional amount.
A charge will be made if the vehicle is returned late or damaged.
If the vehicle is returned past the date and specified time you are liable to overtime charges of £25 an hour.
Any damage caused by pets will be deducted from the security deposit.
In order to hire our vehicle you must be aged between 25 and 70 years old.
There will be additional charges depending on the driver details and intended destination.(Please ask)
If you or the additional driver have had any driving accidents or convictions please inform us for insurance reasons as there may be added costs.
Proof of identity with photo much be produced prior to commencement of hire, with original driver's licence (including the paper counter part of UK licences).
A second proof of address is also required e.g. a recent utility bill.
All drivers must be present when the vehicle is picked up.
For those travelling into the EU there is an aditional daily charge.
Insurance is fully comprehensive.
The excess on the vehicle is £500 .
It is your responsibility to provide your own insurance to cover personal items and belongings and personal injury in the event of an accident.
Supplying and fitment of any child seats are your own responsibility.
Fines & penalties or congestion charges
Any fines or penalties incurred during the term of hire will be your responsibility.
We operate a NO SMOKING policy in our vehicle.
We make every effort to ensure the vehicle is in safe and roadworthy condition prior to each and every hire.
We will refund you any hire charges for any complete days loss of the use of the vehicle.
We will be under no liability for any third party claims or damages in connection with or in consequence of, any accident or breakdown
Our vehicle has breakdown cover, In the event of a breakdown or accident please contact us.
Approval must be made by us in respect to any repairs or replacements.
Tyre damage including punctures, and damage to the windscreen and windows are your responsibility.
Any charges due to negligence e.g. flat batteries, wrong fuel, lost keys will be your responsability.
A full tank of fuel will be provided with the vehicle at the start of hire you will be expected to return the vehicle with a full tank of fuel.
Fuel will be charged at the local rate if the vehicle is bought back with less fuel.
It is your responsability to ensure that oil and water levels & tyres are checked on a daily basis.
A gas cylinder will be supplied at the time of hire and the costs of any refill during the hire period will be refunded to you on return of vehicle with proof of receipt.
500 miles will be included in the hire but any additional mileage will be charged at 35p per mile.
You are asked not to part with the possession or control of the vehicle hired and not to allow any person other than the agreed drivers to drive the vehicle at anytime.
No more than the seating capacity should be carried at anytime.
Pick up / Drop off
Collection and drop off times of the vehicle will be made upon booking.
If you encounter any delays upon returning the vehicle you must contact us to ensure that the insurance cover is maintained.
A £25 per hour charge will be made for the vehicle returning after the agreed time.
Car and Luggage Storage
We offer a car and luggage storage facility but these are left at your own risk.
More than 6 weeks before hire: Loss of deposit only.
4 - 6 weeks prior to start of hire: 50% loss of the total hire charge and deposit.
28 days or less: 100% loss of the total hire charge.
